Swim course
A short beach sprint will begin the race before participants enter the water to begin the swim leg. The swim will take participants on a one-loop rectangular course in the calm waters of Repulse Bay. Swimmers will go in a clockwise direction around two marker buoys before exiting the water at the beach. Challenge competitors will complete the course once, then run, then come back for another swim.
Run course
After exiting transition runners will turn left onto Seaview Promenade and follow the flat sealed path 1.2 km to Deep Water Bay. Turning point A will be clearly visible approx. 100 metres prior to the BBQ pits at Deep Water Bay Beach. All competitors will be required to complete another lap of the run course after turning at Turning point B located just before the transition area at Repulse Bay. Challenge competitors will complete the course once, then swim for a second time, then return for one more run leg.
